Helping Disadvantaged Local Women Break The Cycle of Poverty
At Park Hyatt Siem Reap, we believe in creating meaningful change. In partnership with the Life and Hope Association (LHA) and supported by the global Hyatt Thrive initiative, we proudly fund the LHA Sewing School, a transformative program established in 2006 to break the cycle of poverty for disadvantaged women.
This initiative provides young women from rural communities with essential resources, including vocational sewing training, food, medical care, accommodation, and startup equipment. By equipping them with practical skills and sustainable career pathways, we empower them to build independent futures while strengthening the local economy.
To further support this cause, The Glasshouse at Park Hyatt Siem Reap showcases handcrafted artisanal pieces created by LHA graduates, providing them with a platform to reach a wider audience. Guests can take part in this meaningful journey by purchasing these unique items, directly contributing to the well-being of local women and their communities.
